Great Britain got a democracy problem

Great Britain got a democracy problem.

Or a general insanity problem.

Because the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, and expect a different result.

The politicians and pundits of Great Britain operates on the principle that the people are always wrong, and whatever the people want is always bad, therefore the less genuine representation they have in government, the better.

After all, if the people had their way, we'd have all sorts of irresponsible policies, for example, Great Britain would not have gone to war in Iraq, creating ISIS-daesh-ISIL in the process. Or Afghanistan, if the people had their way.

If the people had their way, the banksters would not have been bailed out, on taxpayers expence, and now be living the high life on bonuses again.

And the british police and military wouldn't be cut and cut and cut to feed the ever growing wallets of the corrupted and contaminated minds of the rich.

The country wouldn't be full of foreign criminals and terrorists who can't deported.

I guess this situation is recognisable in other counties as well.
