Way of Nippon

As said before, in the almost unread essay about the void in Europe and the US,  the socalled "white people" is actually disbandoning their own existence from the face of the earth.

The symptoms are arguable, but the underlaying reason for the void is most likely consumerism, rather than the symptoms of liberalism.

Because while the west is liberal as few other civilizations, this is hardly the case in arch-conservative Japan.

Old Nippon's population is also in decline, just as in Europe and the US, and today there is now one in four japanese aged 65 or more.

Both in the west and in Japan, this demographic shift is due to a low birthrate, and a long life expectancy.

It is interesting to watch the difference in approach  to the matter; Japan taking a "come what may" approach, while the west takes affirmative action to stop the recession.

Hence the west is flooded by immigrants from the third world, most of these are illiterate, most are hardcore islamists, and very few are able to comply with the needs of western econonics.

Instead of boosting the economy in the west, as was anticipated, the immigration have to everyones surprise created a situation who looks more and more like some strange kind of civil war.

Only time will tell if Europe/US got it right, or the japanese was better off going it alone.
